Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is one of the natural wonders of our world. The Niagara Falls is one of the most stunning waterfalls in our world and is also the international border between the State of Ontario, Canada and the State of New York, USA. It is the most visited and popular tourist attraction of USA and Canada. Niagara Falls is divided into two major sections, separated by Goat Island, the Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side and the American Falls on the American side.

The smaller Bridal Veil Falls are also located on the American side, separated from the main falls by Luna Island. Niagara Falls was formed when the Wisconsin glaciers melt and the waters from the newly emerged Great Lakes carved a path through the Niagara Escarpment to meet the Atlantic Ocean. 

The Niagara Falls is wide and more than 6 million cubic feet of water falls in every minute while in high flow and almost 4 million cubic feet per minute on an average. Niagara Falls is an awe inspiring and majestic sight of Nature’s creation and is one of the most famed waterfalls of our planet.
